RU Workshop 2023
RU Workshop on 'Reducing complexity of nonequilibrium systems' - 19.-22.09.2023 - University of Freiburg - Institute of Physics -
The workshop is organized in the framework of our Research Unit of the German Research Foundation (DFG), which aims to develop a systematic approach to modeling dynamics and dissipation in complex systems that are out of equilibrium. Considering nonequilibrium phenomena from transport processes in nanostructures and biomolecules to various types of friction and other dissipative processes, we aim to develop efficient and accurate theories, models and computational methods that employ a reduced description of this dynamics.
